New 7Sheep Manual and Help

We’ve had such a roll-out of new features recently, we’re delighted to let you know that we have also gone live with a new manual for 7Sheep. All the information that you need – now in an even easier format! We’ve also put in a new help button – hopefully large enough that everyone can find it! The contents of the manual can be searched for directly from 7Sheep and you can read the content there too – stripping away the need to have more than one window open. Of course – you can chat to us if we’re online and/or send us a message directly from within the tool. Contact us to find out more! Now you can embed forms on your site in minutes!

We’re very excited to announce a new feature in 7Sheep – the possibility to embed public forms on your own website! And you won’t believe just how easy it is – in just three simple steps. Within an existing Activity, open Activity Settings In the Right Hand Pane, look underneath ‘Hint’ (see the red arrow in the picture above) Copy and paste this text into the HTML version of a page on your website And that’s it! This javascript snippet will do its magic on your webpage, including displaying a larger/smaller form depending on the number of fields you have, if you have included hidden fields etc. It will also automatically adapt to error messages for you too! And, of course, picks up the design settings you have defined. Want to get on board with marketing automation that is this easy? Contact us to find out more! Or, sign up for a free...

Tips and Tricks Dropdown lists – here are some we prepared earlier

Drop down lists are an easy way to ensure that you can segment your database later on, capturing all the entries and avoiding common problems like spelling mistakes or different phrasings. Dropdown lists are also great space savers on forms for multiple-choice questions when you have, say, more than 4-5 different values that someone can choose from. 7Sheep has just expanded its range of pre-defined drop down lists. We now include common groupings of countries and states, telephone prefixes, the ISO country codes and US State codes. These drop down lists will be automatically populated by 7Sheep so all you have to do is create the field, choose your pre-set values and save it. Step 1 Select ‘Predefined Drop Down’ from the ‘Create Field’ options. Step 2 Under the ‘Preset’ drop down, choose the data set you would like to have included in your pre-defined drop down. Step 3 Press save! Any questions about this topic or just interested in marketing automation? Want your organisation save time and money? Contact us today to see how we can help! Tips and Tricks: Automate some data cleaning

There’s a clever little checkbox in 7Sheep which can help you with your data cleaning. It is especially useful for single text fields where you ask for people to submit names (or, if you’re doing a form in German, for any proper noun!). If you check the box “Format text to title case” then even if one of your contacts submits data through a form in lower case, 7Sheep will automatically capitalise the first letter of each word. In the example here, a user would submit their “Name” as arthur dent, by using this check box 7Sheep will automatically store the entry for you as Arthur Dent. This just makes your data cleaning even easier and then your automated e-mail campaigns a lot more professional looking as regardless of the character case they submitted you will be addressing your leads correctly. A simple but very powerful checkbox! Any questions about this topic or just interested in marketing automation? Want your organisation save time and money? Contact us today to see how we can help! Tips and Tricks: Automate the timing of e-mails for maximum effect

We know that each company has their own sales cycle and there will be touch points for every client and potential client to nurture that lead or relationship. 7Sheep lets you automate these with timings built into your triggers. Let’s say that 2 days after signing up you want to touch base to see if any help is needed, or 2 weeks after sign up you want to reach out to see if you can arrange an onboarding session. 7Sheep makes this easy. In the Activity menu point ‘Create and Edit’. You will want to select Triggers from the menu and then create a new Confirmation Trigger. When setting it up you’ll see this ‘when’ option Here you can build in and schedule different e-mails for every touch point that you have identified within your marketing strategy by postponing the trigger from, for example, the moment a user signs up to the newsletter. It not only increases your engagement but by ensuring that the right mail gets to your clients and potential clients at the right time you can also look for an increase in your conversion...
